Matthias Geisbüsch studied transportation engineering at the University of Wuppertal. In his master's thesis, he analyzed the extent to which business and passenger interests can be reconciled in the Wuppertal ridepooling service Hol mich! App and what optimization potential exists in this regard.
During his studies, he already worked as a student assistant at various companies in the public transport sector - most recently at DB Regio AG, where he provided support in personnel controlling and in the production area. He has been working as a research associate at the chair since October 2023.
Currently, he is mainly responsible for the UpTrain project, which deals with the further training of personnel in transport companies.
